Your privacy
This page tells you what we do with your information. The short answer is: very little, and never without your say.

Where your plan lives
The Legacy Kit lives in your own web browser. It is saved on your device, like a private note. As you type, it is not sent to us. It stays with you.
Your plan leaves your device only when you ask. That happens when you ask to talk with a person, when you share your screen, or when you ask for quotes.
When you save, we keep one scrambled piece to help your family get the Kit back later. That piece is nonsense on its own. It holds none of your plan, and it opens nothing. Only your family's own copy of the Kit, together with our piece, can bring it back. You can turn this off when you save.
Even so, print a copy when you finish, and keep it where your family can find it. With no saved copy and no recovery piece, a cleared browser or a lost phone means the Kit is gone. A printed copy is the surest way it never is.
Who else sees it
Very few people, and only after you ask. Byrd Financial and its professionals see what you share with them. If you ask for quotes, the insurance companies you choose see what they need to give you a price. If you start an application, the company whose software carries it sees your answers. If you ask for a text or an email, our phone and email company carries it. Nobody else. We never sell your information to anyone.
What we keep
When you share, we keep a few things. We keep a record of your visit. We keep what you told us you need. We keep your contact details, if you give them. And we keep a record of what you agreed to.
We encrypt each personal detail on its own, so your details stay locked even if our records were ever stolen. A record of what you agreed to cannot be quietly changed later. The one change we allow is you taking your consent back.
No trackers
This site carries no advertising pixels and no trackers. Nothing here follows you.
We do count how our pages work, so we can fix what is hard to use. Those counts carry no name, no number, and no way to tell one visitor from another.
We use a couple of small cookies: one keeps your place, one remembers your text-size choice. They are not for tracking. We never sell your personal information.
Measuring our ads
If you agree to it, we may send your email address to Meta, the company that runs Facebook, so we can tell whether an ad of ours reached you. We scramble it first, so it cannot be read back. We never send your name, your number, or anything in your plan. If you do not agree, we send nothing at all.
If you call us
If you leave a voicemail, we use a service that types it out, so the right licensed person can read it and call you back. For business calls, we may note who called and when.
When we contact you
We do not text, email, or call unless you asked us to. Before we send anything, we check that you agreed. We also check do-not-contact lists.
We never sell your phone number. We never share your phone number, or the fact that you agreed to texts, with anyone else for their own marketing.
Your choices
You can stop our messages any time, and here is how. Reply STOP to any text and the texts end that minute. Or call us at 833-853-4229 and say you want off the list. Either way, your number goes on our do-not-contact list and stays there.
You can ask us to erase your personal information. We remove it. We keep only what the law says we must keep. That is records with no personal details left in them, records of what you agreed to, records of any policy, and signed forms.
