These are the plain terms for using The Legacy Kit. Please read them.

The Kit is free

The Legacy Kit costs nothing, and it never will. There is no trial and no catch. You can finish it, keep it, and never speak to us. Byrd Financial provides the Kit because getting your affairs in order matters. Nothing in the Kit is held back until you buy anything, and nobody calls you unless you ask.

What the plan is

The plan you make is a planning document. It is not a will. It is not legal advice. A lawyer can turn your wishes into legal papers. The Kit helps your family know what those wishes are.

Recommendations

The answers in the Kit are here to teach. Nothing on the site tells you to buy a policy or a plan. Only a licensed person can recommend one. That happens only when you ask to work with one.

Insurance is separate

Insurance is a separate step, with a separate conversation, and only with a licensed Texas agent of Byrd Financial. You choose whether to take that step. Some steps in a plan call for a professional: a lawyer for a will, an accountant for taxes, an insurance agent for coverage.

About the tool

We give you the tool as it is, and we try to keep it correct and working. Every family's situation is its own, so the important steps are always checked with a licensed person.

Text messages

Texts come from Byrd Financial, and only if you asked for them. You can ask by checking a box, by giving us your number so we can send you a code, or by saying yes to reminders when your policy starts. Some texts are sent automatically, like a code or a reminder you asked for. When you ask a question by text, a person reads it and answers you.

What we send: a one-time code when you verify a signature, reminders about your own policy, updates you asked for, and replies to texts you send us. How often depends on what you asked for. We do not send ads.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time and the texts end. Reply HELP and we send you our phone number. Saying yes to texts is never a condition of getting the Kit or of buying anything.

Your information is yours

What you write is yours. We claim no rights over what you put in your plan. It lives on your device, so print a copy when you finish and keep it where your family can find it.
